Christmas Customer Assistant — Food — Islington

Support M&S Islington’s food operation on Tuesday and Wednesday early shifts. Help customers, maintain product availability and store standards, with a temporary contract through mid-January.

Pay

£14.74 / hour + £3.00 / hour unsocial premium only for hours worked 22:00–06:00

Hours

Tuesday and Wednesday 05:00–13:00. May be asked to work up to full-time hours in weeks commencing 13 and 20 December.

Start

Temporary contract ending 16 January 2027; start date not stated.

Experience

Food retail role; no formal qualification or explicit previous-experience requirement stated. Buddy mentorship described.

Requirements

Age 18+ explicitly required because of early-morning work. Customer service, sales focus, digital confidence, teamwork, pace and flexibility across store areas. Available for early starts and possible additional December hours. Unsocial premium applies only between 22:00 and 06:00.
