Requirements

Age 18+ when the apprenticeship starts in September 2027. UK residence continuously for the three years before the start; legal eligibility to work full-time in the UK throughout; no concurrent apprenticeship. Advert aimed at non-graduates. Applicants under 19 on 8 September 2027 need Maths and English GCSE 4/C, National 5 C, Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent to complete; if missing at entry, Functional Skills Level 2 must be achieved before the end-point assessment. No prior learning required; relevant prior learning may shorten the programme. BBC Extend: applicants must identify as deaf, disabled or neurodivergent and meet the Equality Act 2010 disability definition (DDA 1995 in Northern Ireland). Must live within commuting distance; training travel may be required. BBC employment/reference/right-to-work checks and applicable safeguarding/media checks; offer subject to training-provider eligibility assessment.
