Apprentice Water Treatment Technician

Learn to inspect, sample, test and maintain water systems in commercial buildings. Work alongside technicians on water hygiene, Legionella controls, maintenance and compliance records while completing a Level 3 apprenticeship.

£22,000 / year

Hours

40 hours/week, Monday to Friday. Start and finish times vary with client requirements, maintenance work and daily scheduling.

24 November 2026; duration 2 years. Post-apprenticeship outcome to be confirmed.

Experience

Level 3 Water Treatment Technician apprenticeship with The S&A Transform Group Limited; workplace learning and specialist training. Practical experience and technical awareness are desirable.

Requirements

Age 18+ due to insurance; eligible for a Level 3 apprenticeship in England, willing to undertake a DBS check after a conditional offer, and able to travel to client sites. Reliability, communication, practical problem solving, interest in science/engineering/water treatment and commitment to safety/compliance. Desirable qualifications listed: A-level Chemistry (pass), A-level Science (pass), BTEC Engineering (pass). Practical experience, plumbing/water-system knowledge and Legionella awareness desirable. Flexible working times required within a standard 40-hour week.
